TRO and neuroblastoma: Using cell biological, biophysical, and electrophysiological methods, we report that TRO abolishes the NMDA‐induced flux of Ca2+ across the cell membrane of neuroblastoma and primary neurons and appears to be a potent ligand inhibitor of NMDARs, with a half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) value estimated on primary neurons and electrophysiological methods of about 5 nm.
