CRIP3 was identified as a novel prognostic biomarker in cancers such as head and neck squamous cell carcinoma [72], lung squamous cell carcinoma [73], and prostate cancer [74], among which the CRIP3 hypomethylated epigenotype in lung squamous cell carcinoma was significantly associated with poor prognosis. This evidence concerns the gene CRIP3 and prostate carcinoma.
