CRP and bacterial infectious disease: Laboratory results showed a markedly elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) level of 272 mg/L (reference range: <10 mg/L) and a total leukocyte count (TLC) of 18.7 × 109/L (reference range: 5-15 × 109/L) with 78.2% neutrophils (reference range: 30-60%), consistent with significant bacterial infection.
