In pancreatic cancer tissues, NSUN2 and ALYREF are significantly upregulated, with NSUN2 expression positively correlating with TNM stage and distant metastasis (Table 1) (Chen et al., 2022; Meng Q. et al., 2024; Zhang G. et al., 2023) Elevated levels of NSUN2 and ALYREF are associated with shorter OS in patients with pancreatic cancer (Chen et al., 2022; Meng Q. et al., 2024; Zhang G. et al., 2023).
