Similar to results observed in clinical samples, we observed significantly elevated protein levels of HRH1 in most of the HNSCC/OSCC cell lines included in our study (i.e., Ca9-22, FaDu, SAS, HSC-2, HSC-3, HSC-4, HSC-3M, SCC4, SCC9, and SCC15) compared to normal or dysplastic oral keratinocytes (HOK and DOK; Fig. 2A). The gene discussed is HRH1; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
