MTOR and central nervous system cancer: When lncRNA-NEAT1 is knocked down, the expression of proliferation antigen Ki-67, DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) and mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) are decreased, but the expression of miR-185-5p is increased, indicating that lncRNA-NEAT1 is a ceRNA of miR-185-5p, which can promote the expression of DNMT1 and activate mTOR signal, thus stopping apoptosis and encouraging glioma metastasis, growth, and shifting between epithelial and mesenchymal cells.
