IRF2BP2 and stroke disorder: The roles of ARAP3 and IRF2BP2 in cellular signaling and transcriptional regulation further support their potential relevance in stroke pathology, as they are known to participate in inflammatory cell activation and macrophage polarization, which are crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis during ischemic conditions and play critical roles in neuronal survival during ischemic events (Cruz et al., 2017; McCormick et al., 2019; Lee et al., 2023; Zhang et al., 2023).
