Since LPS is a classical RA‐mimicking agent that promotes the secretion of inflammatory factors, such as IL‐17A, TNF‐α and IL‐1β [56, 57], and ROS plays a pivotal role as a central mediator in inflammatory pathways and reactions [58], we proceeded to investigate the effects of LPS on the ROS scavenger system, along with unravelling the potential mechanisms by which Norwogonin impairs LPS‐induced osteoclast differentiation and function. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and rheumatoid arthritis.
