A comparison between LPS‐treated and untreated groups revealed that LPS treatment significantly increased the expression of CD14, CD80, and HLA‐DR markers in both control subjects (pCD14 = 0.0001, pCD80 < 0.0001, pHLA‐DR = 0.0038) and RA patients (pCD80 = 0.0029) (Figure 7C). This evidence concerns the gene CD14 and rheumatoid arthritis.
