The known function of these proteins (Table 5) indicate a role in two major areas of interest- (1) macrophage function and lymphocyte proliferation such as a 2.21 fold decreased expression of Myoferlin, and a 1.76 fold reduced expression of RILP-like protein 1 and (2) tumor progression such as a 3.41 fold decreased expression of PHLDA-3, 1.45 fold reduction in Programmed Cell Death Protein 4 expression. This evidence concerns the gene RILPL1 and neoplasm.
