As expected, the telomeric tumour:blood ratio, a proxy for tumour telomere length, was higher in ATRX altered compared to TERT altered or TERT/ATRX wild-type tumours (Two-sided Student’s t-test p-value < 0.00025) with no significant difference in telomeric DNA content observed between the latter two groups. This evidence concerns the gene TERT and neoplasm.
