We noted that good LIPI was associated with an improvement in OS compared to intermediate/poor LIPI in patients with no smoking history, no alcohol consumption history, high CEA, high CA19-9, obstructive jaundice, 2-3 organs transferred, liver metastases, and chemotherapy regimens that did not include G. LIPI was not significantly associated with OS in any other subgroups. The gene discussed is CEACAM5; the disease is obstructive jaundice.
