4.28% prevalence of CAE with 75% of patients having HTN, 62% having hyperlipidemia, and 31% having DM. Half the population had CAE in 1 vessel while other half had >1 vessel involvement. 40% of patients with CAE had ANA+ titer and 20% of controls had ANA+ titer. 67% of the population with ANA+ titer had 3 vessel CAE, 30% had 2 vessel, 37% had 1 vessel, and 20% had no CAE. More ANA-positive titers correlated with increased severity of CAE as well. This evidence concerns the gene BTG3 and hyperlipidemia.
