Mechanically, obesity promoted the expression of FABP4 via the mTORC1 pathway, and elevated FABP4 further promoted the secretion of advanced glycation end‐products (AGEs) within IVD tissue, which resulted in activated NF‐κB signalling pathway, extracellular matrix (ECM) imbalance, and angiogenesis. Here, FABP4 is linked to obesity disorder.
