CRP and Hypokalemia: Hypokalaemia (2.6 mEq/l), hypomagnesaemia (1.25 mg/dl) and hyponatraemia (128 mEq/l) were associated with hypoalbuminaemia (2.1 g/dl), C-reactive protein (CRP) 27.1 mg/l (N < 5) and stool molecular-panel detected enteropathogenic Escherichia coli.
