STUB1 and hydrops fetalis: Nonetheless, although CHIP does not negatively affect short-term LV reverse remodeling, the negative changes in myocardial tissue with increased native T1, ECV, and T2 values seen in patients with CHIP mutations confirmed by cardiac MRI, may partially explain the impact of CHIP on the clinical course of HF, particularly in the long term, where persistent myocardial injury could lead to disease progression.
