SOD1 and neoplasm: Consistent with earlier research findings (Eldehna et al., 2018; Prasathkumar et al., 2022), the current study emphasized that (Z)-13-docosenamide has been demonstrated to have a subsequent biological activity on oxidative stress indicators such as SOD, MDA, CAT, and GSH enzymes that impact HEPG-2 cells, wherein the level of CAT that catabolizes ROS was demonstrated to be reduced in HEPG-2 cells treated with (Z)-13-docosenamide compared to the control, ensuring the subsequent buildup of ROS that ultimately impacts tumor cell death through protein oxidation.
