Previous studies in our research group had found that BRD7 was downregulated in NPC biopsy tissues and cell lines, confirming its role as a tumor suppressor gene and nuclear transcription factor in NPC, participating in various cellular processes such as cancer initiation and progression, glucose metabolism, spermatogenesis, chromatin remodeling, cell cycle, and transcriptional regulation 10-16. Here, BRD7 is linked to cancer.
