PSMC6 and ovarian serous carcinoma: This hypothesis is corroborated by the evidence that, on the contrary to what observed in IGROV-1/Pt1, in serous ovarian carcinoma OVCAR-5/Pt cells the silencing of PSMC6 produced an increased activation of the MAPK pathway that likely favours cell survival counteracting cisplatin cytotoxicity (Figure S11).
