EZR and cancer: Given that ACAP4’s interaction with ezrin undergoes context-dependent conformational changes (Ding et al., 2010; Jiang et al., 2015; Song et al., 2018), it would be intriguing to explore whether and how the phosphorylation of ezrin at Ser567 interacts with Acapin phosphorylation to influence cancer metastasis using xenograft in the future.
