Interaction testing revealed that significant differences existed between predominant α- or β-adrenergic responders, independent of a priori selected covariates for cTnT (F1, 117 =24.2, P < 0.001), NT-proBNP (F1, 117 =11.57, P = 0.014), 24-hour hypertension (%) (F1, 117 =27.89, P < 0.001) and 10-year stroke risk probability (%) (F1, 117 =11.67, P = 0.003). The gene discussed is NPPB; the disease is Stroke.
