A meta-analysis pooling results from 10 cohort studies [25–30, 38–41] found that SGLT2 inhibitor use was associated with a reduced risk of CTRCD in cancer patients (RR: 0.47, 95% CI: 0.33–0.68, P < 0.001; Figure 2A), though with significant heterogeneity (I2 ═ 70%). This evidence concerns the gene SLC5A2 and cancer.
