Next, after adjusting for age, sex, smoking, drinking and BMI, the partial correlation analysis revealed that serum A20 level was positively correlated with Hb (r=0.143, P=0.044), AST (r=0.153, P=0.031), Cr (r=0.165, P=0.02) and was negatively associated with occurrence of T2DM (r=-0.352, P<0.001), WHR (r=-0.172, P=0.015), FPG (r=-0.227, P=0.001) and HbA1c (r=-0.205, P=0.004) (Table 3).
