SATB2 expression was found in the vast majority of both primary and metastatic CRCs, suggesting that SATB2 may be used as a diagnostic marker to differentiate CRC from other cancer types [37,39], especially with concomitant immunostaining of cytokeratin 20 [37] or cadherin 17 [40]. The gene discussed is CDH17; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
