In the prediabetic group, we observed the fact that the combination of elevated TSH and elevated TPOAb, along with decreased T3, T4, FT3, and Tg and increased FT4, raises the possibility of a compensatory condition that could result in subclinical thyroid dysfunction, including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and subclinical hypothyroidism. Here, CD4 is linked to Hashimoto thyroiditis.
