In this present study, 9c can be regarded as a molecular probe, and we disclose for the first time that NSA2 functions as a stabilizer of EGFR protein, in turn recruiting more EGFRs onto the cell membrane to enhance the PI3K-AKT proliferative signaling pathway along with the down-regulation of p53 in the wild-p53 cancer cells, which provides the possible mechanism of NSA2 in the cancer progress. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is cancer.
