PPARA and neuroblastoma: Apolar fraction enriched in antioxidant factors such as triterpenes, fatty acids, octyl formate, and coniferaldehyde exhibited the highest antioxidant–neuroprotective activities, as documented by the enhanced suppression of the H2O2-induced reduction in SH-SY5Y cell viability, the induction of the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory factors PPARα and GR expression, the reduction in ROS production, and the resistance to the depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane potential, in H2O2-treated neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells.
