In the mortality group, the percentage of patients with NHYA class III and IV (p < 0.001), atrial fibrillation (p = 0.028), appropriate ICD discharge (p = 0.040), mean sPAP (p = 0.021), and the values for ESD (p < 0.001), direct bilirubin, total bilirubin, BNP (p < 0.001 for all three), and CONUT score (p = 0.001) were significantly higher than the survival group. Here, NPPB is linked to atrial fibrillation.
