To determine whether the inhibition of cell adhesion could be used as a novel strategy to increase chemosensitivity in ovarian cancer treatment, we used the Nectin-4 peptide N4-P10 to block spheroid formation in cell lines and cells isolated from ovarian cancer patient ascites and tested them for the cytotoxicity of the platinum chemotherapeutic agent, cisplatin. This evidence concerns the gene NECTIN4 and ovarian cancer.
