These patterns may reflect a lack of tailored induction therapies for newly diagnosed IDH1/2 AML during the study period, in contrast with NPM1 and FLT3 patients where rapid PCR screening was required to potentially add gentuzumab ozogamicine [19,20,21] or midostaurin [22], which could be to 3 + 7 chemotherapy.
