The PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway, a downstream effector of JAK2/STAT3, has been widely implicated in regulating various aspects of tumor progression, including migration and invasion [43,44,45]; this provides additional support for the idea that drugs targeting the JAK2/STAT3 axis may offer promising therapeutic strategies for inhibiting tumor metastasis and invasion. The gene discussed is MTOR; the disease is neoplasm.
