Similarly, the allele model indicated a significant association between the A allele of the two SNPs (rs660652 and rs472054) in CHRNA3 and reduced risk of COPD (OR = 0.67, 95% CI: 0.49–0.92, p = 0.013; OR = 0.66, 95% CI: 0.48–0.90, p = 0.009, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene CHRNA3 and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
