Research has identified Zbtb20 as a potential therapeutic target of dapagliflozin (DAPA) from the RNA-seq analysis for the protective effects in hypertensive nephropathy,23 suggesting us DAPA as a proposing drug targeting Zbtb20. As shown in Fig. 5c, supplement of DAPA further minimized the expression of ZBTB20 indeed, as well as increased the expression of PTEN as a result. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and hypertensive nephropathy.
