It has been shown that FLOT1 plays an important role in many types of cancer, such as breast cancer (Koh et al. 2016), gastric cancer (Gao et al. 2015), nasopharyngeal carcinoma (Cao et al. 2016), clear‐cell renal cell carcinoma (Tomiyama et al. 2014), bladder transitional cell carcinoma (Guan et al. 2014), oral squamous cell carcinoma (Xiong et al. 2013), hepatocellular carcinoma (Zhang et al. 2013), tongue squamous cell cancer (Li et al. 2014b), non‐small cell lung cancer (Li et al. 2014a), and OC from our group (Li et al. 2018). The gene discussed is FLOT1; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
