Based on the risk values assigned to each gene, it was found that CD1C, GSTK1, MSLN, SLC7A7, SELL, and TMEM176A were associated with favorable prognosis, while OTUD6B, ABHD13, BTBD3, WT1, METTL7B, NUDT1, DCPS, BCKDK, N4BP3, DGKE, GCSAML, TCF4, KCNK5, SH2D1A, MED12L, CTSD, CD300LF, MT1X, TNFSF13B, and CCL2 were considered as poor prognostic genes in AML patients. The gene discussed is KCNK5; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
