They found that 76.66% of patients in the CPA/EE + metformin group and 73.3% of patients in the GLP-1 RA + metformin group had recovered their menstrual cycle, and both showed a statistically significant decrease in polycystic ovaries and amenorrhea (p < 0.05). Other findings for the CPA/EE + metformin group found a statistically significant decrease in multiple hormones like LH/FSH ratio, testosterone, and sex-hormone binding globulin.
