Adaptive immune features, including higher proportions and increased clonality of CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells and B cells most strongly drove the separation across PC1 of undifferentiated uveitis with granulomatous KP from HLA-B27 AAU and other cases lacking granulomatous KP, which were more strongly associated with innate features including macrophages, DCs and unconventional T cells (Figure 1D). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is uveitis.
