While previous studies have linked CaMKII-phosphorylation to enhanced crest CaV1.2 activity in dilated cardiomyopathy and PKA-phosphorylation to t-tubular CaV1.2 in ischemic cardiomyopathy67, our study suggests both kinases may contribute to channel regulation during chronic AngII signaling. This evidence concerns the gene AGT and dilated cardiomyopathy.
