More recently, microarray analysis of IL-36β in pancreatic cancer has revealed that intra-tumoral injection of IL-36β results in downregulation of let-7c-5p, a microRNA responsible for the downregulation of IL-2 and IFN-γ in CD8+ T-cells [72], increasing understanding of the underlying mechanism by which IL-36β activates CD8+ T cells. The gene discussed is IL36B; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
