ROC curve analysis showed that the areas under the curve (AUC) for diagnosing heart failure using preoperative α-HBDH, cTnI, BNP, α-HBDH combined with BNP, cTnI combined with BNP, and α-HBDH, cTnI combined with BNP were 0.736, 0.873, 0.708, 0.764, 0.883, and 0.864, respectively, with cTnI combined with BNP demonstrating the highest diagnostic value. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and heart failure.
