KLK3 and neoplasm: Both univariate and multivariate analyses revealed that several factors—specifically, ALP levels, Gleason Score, extracapsular extension (ECE) invasion, pathological tumor volume, preoperative PSA levels, postoperative PSA levels, and postoperative procalcitonin (PCT) values—significantly influenced the occurrence of postoperative bone metastasis (BM) in prostate cancer, with all factors showing statistical significance (P<0.05) (see Table 1).
