Administration of RSV enhanced the inhibitory effects of AT on the classical RAS axis, as manifested by a remarkable decrease in angiotensinogen, renin, and AT1R expression (91.08%, 82.16%, and 71.71%, respectively) in the NAFLD + AT + RSV group compared to those in the NAFLD group (p < 0.0001, 0.032, and 0.004, respectively; Figure 5). This evidence concerns the gene AGTR1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
