The tumors are classified into two main subtypes based on genomic and histologic features: adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma (ACP), which is commonly characterized by mutations in exon 3 of ß-catenin gene, and papillary craniopharyngioma (PCP), which is commonly characterized by BRAF-V600E gene mutations [3, 4] (Fig. 1). The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is Papillary Craniopharyngioma.
