ZMIZ1 has been studied in neurological diseases and leukemia,[22, 23] and GATA4 is known to be essential for proper development and survival.[45] Previous studies found that the regulation of GATA4‐mediated transcription is associated with cellular senescence and rheumatoid arthritis,[6, 46, 47, 48, 49] but its potential association with OA had not previously been examined. The gene discussed is GATA4; the disease is nervous system disorder.
