Regarding laboratory tests, it was observed that patients with MI had higher values of creatinine, hemoglobin, leukocytes, lymphocytes, both sensitive and ultrasensitive C-reactive protein (CRP), lactate dehydrogenase, ferritin, NT-proBNP, and D-dimer, with these differences being statistically significant compared to patients without MI (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and myocardial infarction.
