CDC16 and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis: With use of Nephroseq V5 (https://v5.nephroseq.org) (Xu et al., 2021), we compared the genes expression between chronic kidney disease and healthy kidney in clinical sample and get the Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) (MDRD) information from this database, analysis showed that the CDC16 is negatively correlated with GFR from focal segmental glomerulosclerosis samples, which means CDC16 may promote kidney disease progression (Figure 2B).
