NR4A1 and acute myeloid leukemia: Results indicated no significant association between age, sex, median platelet count, mean hemoglobin concentration and AML FAB classification and the methylation status of the NR4A1 and NR4A3. However, the median WBC count was significantly higher in AML patients with methylated NR4A1 than those with unmethylated NR4A1. Conversely, AML patients with unmethylated NR4A3 had significantly higher median WBC count than those with methylated NR4A3 (Table 2).
