IL17A and endothelial dysfunction: Toral et al. [64] found that transplantation of spontaneously hypertensive rats with fecal microbiota from normotensive WKY rats reduced BP and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase activities, ameliorated IL-17A-mediated immune cell infiltration, and improved angiotensin II-induced endothelial dysfunction and cardiorenal hypertrophy.
