Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) have emerged as a promising solution, with tirzepatide gaining significant popularity for its efficacy in promoting weight loss. This case report highlights a 57-year-old male patient with type 2 diabetes on a low dose of tirzepatide who initially presented with severe abdominal pain and vomiting, with symptoms resembling those of acute functional gastric outlet obstruction. Here, GLP1R is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
