Considering that there were no significant differences in the proliferative T cells of tumor tissues from patients with high or low serum EGF levels (Figure 4B and Supplemental Figure 5H), the reason for the poor efficacy of OX40 agonist in patients with high EGF levels might be attributed to the angiogenesis caused by higher OX40 expression in tumor ECs (Figure 4, B and C).
